Spring has come to the Kapiti Coast with the arrival of bluebells and blossoms in the garden and the first balmy evenings where we can fling open all the doors and listen to the chorus of the birds. It’s a privilege to live amidst such beauty – I feel very lucky – and it helps keep me sane as I dive into writing the final chapters of a new novel The Nature of Ash, due out next year.
Below are the links to two parts of an interview I had with writer Johanna Knox. Thanks to Johanna for her interest, and thanks to writer Tim Jones for posting it.

I hope you find it interesting. Enjoy your spring – here’s hoping it inspires a little of the revolutionary thinking of the Arab spring when it comes to our own general election next month!
Peace and love
Mandy
Thanks for taking part in this interview, Mandy (and, of course, thanks also to Johanna for conducting it) – I enjoyed reading what you had to say as I was formatting it, and I am looking forward to posting Part 2!
